Understanding Worlds
A World is the workspace your apps live in. You do not create one on purpose — signing up creates it — but it is worth knowing what it holds, because almost every limit and every setting belongs to the World rather than to a single app.
What arrives is not an empty workspace: signing up on a plan installs the blocks and capabilities that plan carries, and your World opens ready to build in.
What lives in a World
- Your apps — every app you build, published or not.
- The records behind them — the data your pages read and write.
- Members — who else can build here, and what they may do.
- The plan and billing — how many apps stay live, how much Φ arrives each month, how much storage you have.
- Installed packs — the blocks and capabilities your apps compose from.
- Storage — uploads, media, and exported bundles.
- The audit log — who did what, on Team plans and above.
Nothing crosses between Worlds. Two Worlds never see each other’s apps, records or members, and each has its own rate limits and audit trail.
Apps and Worlds
One World usually holds several apps: a public site, an internal handbook, a customer portal. They share the World’s plan, its members and its storage, and that is the scope the plan’s limits are counted in: how many apps are live, how much storage they hold, how many records they keep, how many people are on the team.
How many pages an app has is not one of them. Building a page is already paid for as you build it, so capping the result would charge the same work twice — the count is shown, never refused.
Visitors are a separate matter. Someone who signs in to your app is not a member of your World and has no access to the builder — see Visitor sign-in.

Working in more than one World
You may be a member of several Worlds — your own, and any you have been invited to. The switcher in the sidebar moves between them, and each one is a fresh context: different apps, different members, different log.
