Getting started
Four steps from an account to an app running at its own address.
1. Create your account
Create your PhiWebs account and choose a plan as you sign up — an account starts on a plan, and the plan decides how many apps you keep live, how much production you get each month, and whether your own domain can point at it.
You pick the plan at checkout as you sign up, and you can move to another one later from your Billing page. Enterprise is arranged with us — write from the contact page. See Account and billing.
2. Your World is created for you
Signing up creates your first World — the workspace your apps live in. Members, billing, storage and installed packs all belong to it, and nothing crosses from one World to another.
See What a World holds.
3. Describe your first app
Open the composer and say what you want in plain language — “a class schedule and a membership form for a gym”, “a company handbook with a searchable people directory”. You get pages, the records behind them, and a visitor sign-in, wired together.
Walk through it in Create your first app.
4. Publish it
Publishing puts the app at its own address — your-name.phiwebs.app — and
shows you the URL as it goes live. Share the link, or point your own domain
at it on Team plans and above.
You can also take the app with you at any point: download the source as a
pwpack, or export a pwapp and host it yourself. Both are available on
every plan. See Publishing and sharing.
